Medical professionals who need to review their anatomy, college or high school students preparing for, or taking anatomy based classes or personal trainers preparing for certification or who need to review their anatomy

Course Objectives:

  • Review the major muscles of the trunk and extremities
  • Learn insertion, origin and action of each muscle covered
  • Basic review of the Cardiac System
  • Basic review of the Digestive System
  • Basic review of the Endocrine System
  • Basic review of the Lymphatic System

Course Overview

A 2 day course review of human anatomy. Class attendees will use all three learning styles, visual, auditory and kinesthetic as they build muscles or other systems out of clay. 

 

Anatomy of the Knee

Who is this class for? 

This is for those who would like a better understanding of the knee, or would like to learn how to decrease knee pain.

Course Objectives:

  • Learn the bones associated with the knee
  • Learn the muscles that create knee movement
  • Gain a greater understanding of knee related injuries and diseases
  • Learn exercises for increased strength and stability at the knee joint

Course Overview

Participants will build muscles pertaining to the knee and will discuss insertion, origin, and action of the muscles. Discussion of knee related injuries and disease, as well as prevention and appropriate exercises, will be reviewed.
